At the Headquarters of the Emergency Management Agency, Deputy. General Director Mr. Shefki ABDULLAHU received in a working meeting Deputy. KFOR Commander General Laurent MICHAUD, where in an understanding environment, the two counterparts exchanged information on the situation created by the COVID-19 Pandemic, the interaction and coordination of support and assistance to the citizens of Kosovo. Also, the topic of discussion was the attempt to resume the planning of the Silver Sword exercise, an exercise which in coordination with the Kosovo security institutions in cooperation with KFOR has been implemented for more than a decade.
On behalf of AME Deputy. The Director General informed the counterpart about the efforts made by the Emergency Management Agency at all levels of COVID-19 Pandemic Management, as well as the willingness to make a valuable contribution to the preparation of the Silver Sword Exercise, which was agreed upon based on in the recommendations of the planning group, that it will be implemented in September 2021, while the planning will start from October of this year.
